  1. What are the system requirements for Glassmate software?
    Glassmate was developed under windows platform, and will run Under Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows NT, Windows 2000. It is recommended to have at least 10 MB free disk space for program installation, and about the same size for your designs.

  2. Does EzyGlass ship products?
    The EzyGlass web site operates only with virtual (digital ) products. Therefore shipping is not required. Upon the purchase of a design, the product will is attached for downloads on a confirmation email, it can also be downloaded from customer account orders.

  3. What is the Glassmate Resizer tool?
    The Resizer is one of the GlassMate tools. It allows you to print out your designs at any dimensions, without losing resolution. This tool is absolutely free and will be available even once your GlassMate trial period is expires.

  5. Is it possible to sell multiple copies of the same design?
    Members can set the number of designs that can be sold. There is no limitation on the number of designs that can be sold. But If a design creator wants to sell only one copy of a certain design, there is an option which allows that.

  6. Does a new updated version of Glassmate cost extra?
    When you purchase Glassmate software, you will get minor updates and bug fixes for free. Minor updates are updates of which the first version number has not changed. For instance - if you buy version 1.2, you can upgrade to any other version 1.x free of charge Major upgrades are indicated by a change in the product version number. So an upgrade from 1.x to 2.x is a major upgrade. Major upgrades usually have a significant amount of improvements and new features. Therefore, you will likely have to pay an upgrade fee if you want to take advantage of a major update or version upgrade.

  7. Is it possible to create a category for selling designs?
    There are a number of predefined categories where members can choose to put their designs. But if you feel that you are planning to use Glassmate to create a product that is not cover by any of the existing categories, please contact us. We will consider the new category, and if the proposed category does not conflict with the Glassmate policy, we will add it.

  8. If I buy new computer, how can I get a new license key?
    Starting from Glassmate ver.2.0 this process significantly simplifies. Make sure that there is an internet connection established. Start the Glassmate software; go to the Registration->Registration Request menu, Click on Automatic License key generation process. Fill out your credentials, and your version of Glassmate software will be set up. If for any reason the automatic process failed, please proceed to the manual process, and we will email the new key to you.

  9. What is Tolerance?
    Tolerance is used to distinguish the area where your knots will coincide The Tolerance is set through Draw->Pen Properties dialog. If you edit your design make sure that the tolerance is not set to 0. Otherwise your knots can’t be selected. If you are free hand drawing or tracing, it makes sense to set the tolerance to 0. If you’re drawing, and want parts of your design look nice setting the tolerance to 4 is usually a good option.
